@startupprincess is taking a break from Twitter for Valentine's Day:
However, we, her adoring fans, cannot stand the thought of being without her tweets for an ENTIRE weekend. In order to thus dissuade her from ever taking a hiatus like this again, we're going to overload her account with @replies. Call it a @startupprincess Appreciation Weekend (#SPAW)! So here's the plan:
- Initially tweet @startupprincess and let her know how excited you are that it's @startupprincess appreciation weekend! Remember to use the hashtag (#SPAW)
- DM your friends about the joke and involve them as well! Keep messages to DMs to keep the joke underground!
- Any time you get on Twitter throughout the weekend, let her know how much you're enjoying the @startupprincess Appreciation Weekend (again, hashtag!) If you can affort to tweet her a few times, please do so. Try to send a couple of replies each day (Fri, Sat, Sun) AT LEAST. The more, the better!
- DO NOT give away the joke until she comments on it upon her return. Trust us, it'll be way awesomer that way.
- Bask in the knowledge that you not only facilitated @startupprincess's Twitter addiction, but you probably gave her warm fuzzies as well!
